Winter is Going Fast - What Winter????

I never, ever thought that I would suggest that winter is going too fast. Here in Southern Ontario, we have hardly had winter at all.
Dracaena janet craig in flower
We, at Plants For All, have been in the indoor tropical plant business for 31 years, with me personally contributing for the last 27 years. You might think that after all of that time, there can't be anything new.  Far from it! There are big things and little things and I like to celebrate them all.
For example, the Dracaena janet craig is a very popular tropical tree that is quite well suited to the indoor environment of today's offices. While it is an attractive and durable addition to any interior plantscape, it doesn't flower in that environment.  Until now.
Just 2 weeks ago, one of my Dracaena janet craig, in one of my client offices, shot forth a single stem with blooms.  I was pleased to say the least and took this picture to immortalize this event.

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, we have brought in a few extra special items to help celebrate.
